The Scratch Bar is a luxury ASMR-based relaxation studio offering gentle scalp scratches, hair-play, body tracing, and calming soft-touch scratching services. Our sessions are non-therapeutic and designed to give you that "tingly," deeply relaxed feeling, without the awkwardness of a traditional spa.

What is ASMR?

ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) refers to the calming, pleasurable sensation triggered by soft, soothing stimuli like whispering, hair brushing, light touch, and gentle tapping. Our services are carefully curated using ASMR techniques to create a deeply relaxing experience unlike anything else in Reno.

Are you a massage studio?

No. We do not offer massage, bodywork, or any therapeutic medical services. Our sessions are purely for relaxation and are performed with soft-touch techniques.

Where are you located?

6850 S. McCarran Blvd. Reno, NV 89509. We’re located in a professional, private suite — not a home. The Scratch Bar was designed with intention to give you a clean, elevated, and serene environment from the moment you walk in. We’re conveniently situated right off the freeway with free parking directly in front of the door. No stairs, no long walks — just ease, privacy, and luxury.

Do I need to undress for my session?

Only to your comfort level. Most clients fully undress to their underwear, but you're welcome to undress partially — or completely — as long as you remain fully covered by the blanket throughout your session. Our priority is to maintain a safe, relaxing, and respectful environment for everyone.

Can I request a certain type of touch (e.g., tracing, scalp only, etc.)?

Absolutely. We customize every session based on your preferences. You’ll fill out a short intake form before your appointment where you can list any specific likes, dislikes, or sensitivities.

How do I book a session?

All sessions must be booked online through our website. We do not accept walk-ins at this time.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancellations require at least 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations will incur a 50% fee, and no-shows will be charged the full session amount.

Do you accept same-day bookings?

Sometimes! If you don’t see anything online, feel free to DM us on Instagram to check for last-minute availability.
